Troubadour Tuesday
Seth Staton Watkins, troubadour #1
I’m beginning to feel that our legacy troubadours are too tired, or transitioned, or comfy, to write any songs or sing them. There are a few, though, and today I’m going to share them. Why?
Because today I spoke with a gut-level brotherfriend I met in the Haight-Ashbury - the real one. Another time, ask me about square, young, Hippie Hill and Tequila. Yeah.
Jack had been dying since ‘Nam. The government fought him for what seems forever. Agent Orange (ah, here’s to Monsanto now Bayer). Plenty of pain pills though, then. Brilliant guy totally destroyed by the lyin’ sacks of shit who planned, graphed, laughed, strategized as only neocons/libs can…and it’s a continuous feed in our lives…One war…whitewashed as they go…(eventually most of the truth comes out, because - hey, the ZOCsuckergrifters class can’t help sharing - like McNamara when he wrote his book - how oh so sorry he was that they lied and all the rest…that our loved ones had to die or be maimed for Life. I volunteered at the hospital in Philly and - just like Palestine is now - it is burned in my memory. They’ll whitewash that eventually, if they are successful, because
Forgiveness from the masses is necessary
because another war/overthrow/assassination/regime change will be coming down the path any minute now - you know, this geopolitical game they play…? It’s the only way they can truly righteously get off; and they love how they can manipulate us to react certain ways. Think not? Well let’s think about Edward Bernays (Freud’s nephew) - father of propaganda? Let me start a new paragraph, so it’s clear:
CIGARETTES and FREEDOM AND BEING HARD-CORE PLAYED
https://thesocietypages.org/socimages/2012/02/27/torches-of-freedom-women-and-smoking-propaganda/
Yep. That’s us…We the Played.
We are all played, some harder than others…some with force if necessary. Remember what was said in a conversation between Aldous Huxley and George Orwell, when Huxley had, as requested, critiqued Orwell’s 1984. Their prescient obsevations were that where we live now is between Distraction (Brave New World) and Force (1984).
To another front…Jack and I talked for hours about what was/is/will be happening, and how successfully we have been played over decades (I mean the whole Zionist Israeli genocidal project was brilliant in a golden calf way, eh?). We are both music spirits, and we sang a few songs from the era when folks seemed to give a crap. Could play every one today and it’s current. We went over how the Zionists are working hard to destroy Roger Waters, LowKey and any troubadours - or humans for that matter, who will be heard in ANY way - who dare to speak a word against the European Atheist Grand Scheme Con game of commiting a slo-roll genocide (better for the manipulation strategy) and keep the once working always running reel of Portraying the Ultimate and Eternal Victim. (we decided that one has been shot to hell).
We talked about how possibly, the biggest blessing in all of this, was that things have been brought out into the Open…and no matter how the Zionist-owned U.S. puts out the most incredible shit - well, they really don’t even bother now - we are destined to be distracted by Billionaire bois’ plans to take us back to the Neo-Feudal Days. (Your body my Choice type incels frolicking and romping around… hey - don’t you think the one Billionaire boi would look so very cool in AC/DC’s Angus’ outfit? heeheehee!!)
Back to my first troubadour. If you’ve heard him, it makes me proud to be Irish. I’m just going to put the lyrics and post the song. Until next time, it’s Solidarity - or it’s STFU, grab your remote, and accept what you acquiesed to, queridos.

*******
When the people's will is swayed
By a conman's cheap charade
Despite the crass misogyny
And blatant hypocrisy
When the fascist voices swell
We hear echos of the past
They vilify the immigrants
The leftists and outcasts
When the opposition croaks
And the people just don't vote
For the same old tired rhetoric
Of neoliberal politics
We must organize the fight
For our universal rights
For democracy and empathy
to permeate this life
For it's not the immigrant who labors for some bread
Who's making us toil till we drop dead
No it is not minorities or peer-reviewed authorities
Or queer folks and trans folks or a multitude of deities
I say all are your comrades and none are enemies
In the momentous fight against all bourgeois priorities
I say freedom is not those traditional values
Crafted from bigotry and classist realities
Freedom is freedom to move and disobey
To rely on one another to keep would-be kings at bay
Say none of us can stand alone against their power
We must stand together and make them cower
For the laws of this land have us used and abused
Owned and subordinate to our patriarchal roots
I say it's high time we reinvent this whole operation
To make mutual benefit our sole occupation
Because Freedom is freedom to move and disobey
To rely on one another to keep would-be kings at bay
Say none of us can stand alone against their power
We must stand together and make them cower
(here we go)
Yes Freedom is freedom to move and disobey
To rely on one another to keep would-be kings at bay
Say none of us can stand alone against their power
Rise proletariat and make them cower
